The challenge here was how do you make an industrial 8 ton coin press look like its come from Gringotts Bank in Harry Potter.

The coin press features as part of the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter, Gringotts Wizarding Bank.

Pierre Bohanna, head of prop making for all the Harry Potter films designed the coin press cowl and came to us to bring it to life. The press is fully operational turning blank copper discs into freshly minted Gringotts coins. It also features ‘steam’ wafting out of the chimneys. More pics and video here.
